Frequently Asked Questions.
How do I know if I need therapy or life coaching?
If you're struggling with unresolved emotional issues or mental health challenges, therapy may be more appropriate. If you're feeling stuck or need direction in life, career, or relationships, life coaching may be a better fit. Together, we can assess what would best suit your needs.
Can I do both therapy and life coaching at the same time?
Yes! I often blend therapy and life coaching to offer a more comprehensive approach. While therapy addresses emotional healing, coaching helps you take actionable steps toward your goals. This combination can be particularly powerful in fostering growth and progress.
How long do sessions typically last?
Sessions usually last 50 to 60 minutes, but I also offer extended sessions if needed. The frequency and duration depend on your individual needs and goals.
How long will I need therapy or life coaching?
The duration varies for each person depending on their unique needs and goals. Some clients find clarity after a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support over several months. We will regularly review your progress and adjust accordingly.
Are sessions confidential?
Yes, all sessions are completely confidential. As a therapist, I follow strict ethical guidelines to ensure your privacy. The only exceptions are if there's a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if legally required.
Where are you located?
I am based in London and offer face-to-face sessions within the central London area. Additionally, I conduct sessions worldwide via Zoom, providing flexibility and tailoring each session to meet your unique needs, no matter where you are located.
What are your fees?
Assessment - £45, lasting 45 minutes , Face to Face Sessions £70, Online via Zoom £65, Coaching and Therapy combined £75.
What Can I expect during my assessment?
During the 45 minute assessment I will share more about my approach to therapy and set clear expectations, ensuring you feel informed about what comes next. We’ll review the intake paperwork and address any questions you may have regarding the therapeutic or Coaching process. The remainder of the session will be dedicated to gathering your history and establishing goals for our work together. By the end of this first session, you will have a clearer understanding of what you want to focus on and how we will move forward.
Do you accept insurance
Yes, I do accept insurance for therapy services, but coverage depends on your specific provider and plan. It's important to check with your insurance company to confirm whether they cover therapy services and if any requirements, such as a referral from a GP or prior authorization, are needed. I can provide the necessary receipts and documentation to assist with the claims process. However, please note that life coaching services are typically not covered by insurance.
What is your Cancellation Policy
I have a 48-hour cancellation policy, and the full fee will be charged for missed sessions without sufficient notice. However, I do try to accommodate by offering an alternative session within the same week if we can agree on a suitable time.
Do you offer concessionary rates?
Yes, I offer concessionary rates for clients on benefits or low income, with proof of eligibility, as well as for students. Spaces for these reduced rates are limited, and we will discuss availability and fees during the initial consultation.
